USS John P Murtha LPD-26 sticker

USS John P Murtha LPD-26 Sticker — Honoring a Marine and a Congressman

LPD-26 carries the name of a Marine combat veteran who fought for his fellow veterans in Congress for 37 years.

USS John P. Murtha (LPD-26) is a San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock named after Congressman John Murtha of Pennsylvania, a decorated Marine Corps Vietnam veteran and long-serving member of the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee. LPD-26 is designed to transport Marines, their equipment, and landing craft from sea to shore during amphibious operations. The San Antonio class represents the modern backbone of the Navy's amphibious fleet, combining troop berthing, vehicle storage, flight deck operations, and well deck capabilities into a single versatile platform. Murtha's legacy of service — both in combat and in Congress — lives on in every deployment.

Perfect For: USS Murtha crew members, amphibious warfare sailors and Marines, LPD community personnel, Pennsylvania-connected veterans, and Navy ship sticker collectors.

From the halls of Congress to the seas of the world.
