Covered in shimmering silver glitter, this fun full-sole style is made for young dancers, dance-school shows and performances where the shoes deserve their own little moment in the spotlight.

There is absolutely no pretending this is a subtle jazz shoe, and that's exactly why we love it. The holographic silver glitter catches the stage lights beautifully and turns an otherwise traditional lace-up jazz silhouette into something much more playful. Perfect when the costume calls for sparkle, a little drama and shoes that are very much part of the performance.

En Huit Glitter Jazz Shoes – Design & Performance

Underneath the sparkle, this is actually a fairly traditional jazz-shoe construction. The synthetic glitter upper is combined with a lace-up front, allowing the fit to be adjusted across the instep while keeping the shoe securely positioned during movement.

The upper is narrower and noticeably more structured than many of our soft leather or stretch-canvas jazz shoes. It does not immediately mould around the foot in the same way as JZ75 or JZ76, and dancers with broader feet should be particularly mindful of the fit.

Underneath, a continuous full rubber sole runs from forefoot to heel. Like the So Danca JZE16, this creates considerably more resistance beneath the arch than a split-sole jazz shoe. Flexibility and articulation are therefore deliberately limited, giving the shoe a firmer, more traditional dance-school feel.

The benefit is excellent traction. The broad rubber contact area creates a reassuringly grounded base for young dancers learning choreography, travelling across the floor and performing on stage.

This isn't intended to be an ultra-flexible professional jazz shoe – its strengths are much simpler: secure lacing, dependable grip, traditional full-sole structure and an enormous amount of sparkle.
