Officially Licensed HMM-362 Ugly Angels Coin — A Vietnam Legend in Your Pocket

The Ugly Angels flew UH-34s into the worst of Vietnam — this coin carries their legacy wherever you go.

Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 362 (HMM-362), the Ugly Angels, holds a legendary place in Marine aviation history as one of the first Marine helicopter squadrons to deploy to Vietnam. Flying the UH-34D Seahorse (HUS), the Ugly Angels conducted troop lifts, casualty evacuations, and resupply missions under intense enemy fire in the early years of American involvement in Southeast Asia. HMM-362's Vietnam service set the standard for Marine rotary-wing combat operations and proved that helicopters could fundamentally transform the way Marines fight. This challenge coin commemorates their extraordinary sacrifice and contribution to Marine aviation.

Perfect For: HMM-362 Ugly Angels veterans, Vietnam-era Marine aviators, UH-34 Seahorse enthusiasts, military challenge coin collectors, and Marine helicopter history buffs.
